A lot of kitchens around Scranton, Clarks Summit and the Wyoming Valley sit in houses that are decades old. Open one up and you find plaster and lath, wiring that was never meant for a modern kitchen, old plumbing, and walls that carry more than they look like they do.
With our designer, electrician and plumber all working together, those kinds of issues are dealt with in the design stage rather than being discovered halfway through demolition. We work within your target investment range during the design process, and once you sign the agreement, the price is guaranteed.
A designer comes to your home, sees the space and talks it through with you. There is no charge for the visit.

“In an area where contractors frequently say they will show up but don’t or don’t give you a quote or come and never get back to you, Perez did not do that. They consistently showed up when they said they were going to, gave us a quote that was reasonable even though it was higher than the rest.”
It depends on the size of the room and how much of it changes, so we start with a target investment range at the first conversation. The range moves as the design firms up. Once the design is finished and you sign the agreement, the price is guaranteed.
Most kitchens take eight to twelve weeks on site, once the design is finished and the selections are made. Design and ordering come first, and how long that takes depends mostly on how quickly decisions get made.
Almost everyone does. We set up a temporary kitchen before demolition starts, close off the work area against dust, and one project manager runs the schedule so you know who is in the house and when.
Usually, yes. We check whether the wall is load-bearing at the site visit, and if it is, the design will determine which type of beam or posts would need to be added. Any plumbing, wiring or ductwork inside the wall is rerouted by our own professional workers.
No. Our designers draw the kitchen, and they work for the same company as the carpenters who build it. That is the reason design and build sit under one roof here.
Yes, and it is usually easier to do it while the room is already open. Flooring, windows, doors, electrical and plumbing are all done by our own crews, so it is one schedule and one team rather than four.
