Adam Perez, began working for the company when he was a little boy. He purchased the company from his father in 2017 and serves as acting President. Adam is committed to excellence throughout the company’s operations and couples innovation and technology to fuel the legacy of Perez DBR. Adam serves as an active member of the Remodelers Advantage and has been voted the MVP of multiple groups, multiple times. To keep the company on the cutting edge Adam continues his education and holds the NAHB certifications for Green Building for Building Professionals, Business Management for Building Professionals, and is considered a Certified Green Professional.
Adam lends his expertise in construction to the community through work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and has also served on the Board of Directors for the Lackawanna Home Builders Association.

Perez DBR’s Chief Investment Officer, Chris Richez, joined our team in 2024 to oversee and manage the company’s capital investment activities, identify new growth opportunities, and execute strategic investments for the company. He brings 19 years’ experience in the institutional credit sales and trading industry, having served as credit sales and trader with national and international financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley, Credit Agricole, Deutsche Bank and Seaport Global Securities. He also brings valuable expertise in Real Estate, having worked as a Real Estate professional for six years. When it comes time to unwind, Chris heads to the slopes in winter and relishes the challenge of slalom water skiing in the summer.

Lynn has worked with Perez DBR since 2003 managing the core day-to-day functions of the company. Before working at Perez, Lynn worked in the interior of a global manufacturing/engineering company. Lynn’s experience benefits the firm as she manages departmental organization in human resources, accounting, payroll, and general administration.
When she’s not supporting the company through wearing several hats, Lynn enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends as well as pursuing creative outlets through gardening and cooking.

Since Kolia joined the Perez DBR team in 2017, her principal responsibility has been to ensure that clients receive the very best experience while working with the company. While her areas of focus are new customer acquisition and customer service, Kolia also draws from a 20+ year career as a nursing administrator to ensure that customer expectations are always met at every touchpoint. She can often be found providing support to production as well as to other areas of the company where her management skills and focus on efficiency can be of assistance. While running the company keeps her and husband Adam pretty busy, they always find time to create new adventures for their 6-year-old daughter Rio. The family also recently welcomed a new addition – Iggy, their new Maine Coon. Stop by and you might catch him roaming around!

Frank has worked with Perez since 2009. Prior to this, he spent over 18 years working in sales, lumber, doors & windows, flooring, estimating, and ordering. His multi-faceted experiences allow him to streamline production at Perez DBR to meet his clients’ needs.

Rachel passionately believes that great interior design not only transforms spaces but also transforms lives. Since joining the Perez team in early 2024, Rachel has helped launch new services for our clients, including two new interior design packages: In-Home Design Consultations and Full Service Interior Design. A Certified Interior Stylist and graduate of the Interior Design Institute, Rachel is skilled in 3D rendering which she uses to bring clients’ projects vibrantly to life. She also manages interior design “to the trade only” relationships for our clients, including purchasing and shipment of exclusive furnishings, finishes and decor, as well as full installation services. Rachel loves to read and, for fun, enjoys trying out new bakeries and coffee shops.

Denise became part of the Perez DBR team in 2023. A prior business owner, Denise brings valuable operations knowledge to her role as Administrative Assistant. Excelling at communications and organization, Denise helps to ensure the efficient operation of the office, while supporting both management and employees. Denise loves to spend her personal time enjoying her family.

Chris Essig has worked with Perez DBR since 2012. Prior to that, Chris gained fourteen years of valuable experience in the industry that he brings to the company. Chris specializes in exterior detailing, bringing a fresh vision to each and every project to help customers realize the potential of their outdoor space.
Chris has been awarded the honor of Master Shingle Applicator CertainTeed, Master Elite GAF, and Master Installer Windows. These quality accomplishments and recognitions make him a further asset to the team. Chris’s love of the outdoors continues after work as he enjoys activities like fishing and snowboarding.

As a Project Consultant at Perez Design-Build Remodel, Jared Robinson brings 27 years of experience in the home improvement and building industry. Originally from Northeast Philadelphia and a Northeast Pennsylvania resident for the past 25 years, he currently lives in Thornhurst, PA. His expertise includes windows and doors, decks and outdoor living spaces, and bathroom remodeling.
He enjoys helping homeowners solve problems and turn their remodeling goals into reality. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and his cats, Moose and Munchkin, as well as fishing, whitewater rafting, and exploring the outdoors.

When Bill joined Perez DBR as a Project Consultant in 2023, he brought with him over forty years’ experience in both interior and exterior home improvement projects. He has received several awards for his achievements as a Project Consultant and has also received ENERGY STAR training for heating and cooling, as well as In Home Fire Safety Training. When Bill isn’t busy helping clients find solutions to their home improvement projects, he can be found out on the golf course with friends, relaxing on a boat, or enjoying his family.

After 27 years as a small business owner in the retail hearth industry, certified as a National Fireplace Institute Master Hearth Professional and Hearth Design Specialist, Michael has joined Perez DBR as a Project Consultant. He now brings a new depth of expertise to our team in areas such as fireplaces and factory engineered fireplace systems, chimneys, gas lines and mechanical draft systems, as well as associated utility and finish work. In his leisure time, Michael enjoys 3D modeling and printing as well as micro-controller programming. n joined the Perez team as Roofing Project Manager, where he will apply his knowledge and 35 years’ experience in the roofing industry to oversee roofing projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest quality standards and are delivered on time and on budget. Outside of work, Brian loves to enjoy nature, relax and go fishing!

Jeremy has been with Perez DBR since 2014. Prior to his work with the company, Jeremy spent fourteen years operating his own firm in the Advertising/Marketing industry promoting diverse industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, communications, management, etc. Jeremy provides expertise in technology and New Media to Perez, working diligently to create new methods that communicate the quality of the company to the seeking consumer.
Jeremy is passionate about meeting and exceeding his client’s expectations. When he’s not exploring new techniques to promote Perez, he enjoys spending time with his family and perfecting his golf game.

Hanna brings 10 years of customer service experience to her new role as Perez DBR’s Sales Development Representative. She joined the team in 2024 and currently supports the sales team by fielding leads and communicating with current and potential clients. In her free time, Hannah enjoys travelling, attending concerts, and spending time outdoors.

Tracy has served with Perez DBR since 2013. Before her time with the company, she worked in the building industry for over fourteen years. Tracy brings with her a passion for detailed creativity as a certified interior designer and specializes in space planning and interior finishing, casting a creative vision for her customer that she can bring to fruition. Tracy is committed to helping her customers enhance their space from the first consult down to the last detail.
Tracy is certified with ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and is a Universal Design Certified professional. She gains inspiration outside of work through time spent outdoors: beaches with family and friends, reading and walking her dog in the park, and time spent in good conversation.

David Balko has been with Perez DBR since 2005 and is an asset in its development as it continues to change and grow to offer quality work and products to its customers. As Design Technician, David specializes in drawing up plans for the customers as they consider new kitchens and spaces. David helps his customers see the details of their future living space come to light.
David holds a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology and brings with him the expertise and creativity necessary for making building projects a reality.

Jordan joined Perez Design-Build Remodel in September 2025, bringing nearly three years of architectural experience to the team. Originally from Mahanoy City and now living in Scranton, he has developed a strong foundation in both residential and commercial design through his work at a regional architecture firm. His expertise includes architectural drafting, space planning, construction documentation, and advanced 3D modeling.
Jordan is passionate about transforming ideas into tangible plans, guiding clients through each stage of the design process. He especially enjoys the moment when a digital model captures a client’s vision, turning concepts into something they can truly see and feel.
Outside of work, Jordan keeps a balanced and creative lifestyle. He enjoys weightlifting and playing basketball to stay active and often spends free time on personal design projects that let him experiment with new styles and techniques.

Christopher joined us in April 2021, returning to the Wyoming Valley from Philadelphia after pivoting his Architectural education at Temple University to an online platform. A 2019 graduate of Luzerne County Community College, he earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology, graduating Cum Laude. During his education, he served as President of the Luzerne Architecture and Design Student’s Association and received an award for Outstanding Architecture Student.
Christopher has been devoted to Architectural Design/Drafting for 4 years and is skilled in BIM (Building Information Modeling), 3D Renderings, and 2D conceptual & technical drawings. Christopher seeks out creative solutions to design opportunities and is actively studying for his license in Architecture. When he’s not working, Christopher heads for the great outdoors, where he enjoys hiking, camping, and kayaking.

Steve joined Perez in July 2021. Prior to that, Steve gained 25 years of experience in the construction industry working for various building product companies and specializes in technical product information.
Steve has been honored with CertainTeed Elite Master Certification, and has received additional certifications from 20-20 Residential Design Software and the Morton Block School of Design. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and camping.

Dave has served Perez DBR as Senior Project Manager since 2008. He brings 35 years of previous experience in the building industry with him. Dave’s dedication and learned experience makes him a perfect fit for customers looking to redo their residential and light commercial spaces as he oversees the details and ensures timely service.
Dave enjoys variety outside of work as well as in his job as he regularly hunts, fishes, and golfs.

Greg’s relationship with Perez DBR began 11 years ago as a Trade Partner. Then in 2023, Greg officially came on board as a Project Manager. His 40 years’ experience in the industry and expertise in all areas of the building trades and construction are an invaluable asset to the company. And like Leo DiCaprio, Greg’s favorite fun sport is pickleball!

Jason Shifler has worked with Perez DBR since 2012 and prior to this worked in the building industry for fifteen years. As a production manager for the company, Jason specializes in trim and cabinetry to seal the deal on new design with exquisite finishings that set Perez’s workmanship above the rest.
Jason is lead certified in quality workmanship as well as metal and rubber roof installation. His skill in working with these materials make him an asset to the family at DBR and the customer. Outside of work, Jason enjoys golfing in the great outdoors.

Jack has served Perez DBR as Senior Project Manager since 2017. He brings 27 years of previous experience in the building industry with him. Jack is dedicated to the production process and he oversees the details of each project and our production team.
Jack enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hiking, and boating.

Charlie has been at Perez for since 2013 and has worked for 35 years as a carpenter. Area of experience is project management, scheduling, and budgeting. Charlie is a Certified GAF master elite installer, Certified Certainteed installer, and Certified siding installer.

Jason’s passion is to “make something from nothing.” True to his passion, he has worked in construction most of his life, gaining expertise in every aspect of construction – from foundations to rooftops and everything in between – and becoming a skilled builder in the process. In 2023, he joined Perez DBR as a Project Manager, making sure that the construction process and project timelines are adhered to strictly. Outside of work, his two loves are going fishing and spending time with his grandson, preferably while going fishing!

An expert in Landscape Design and Construction, Jason joined Perez DBR in 2024 as head of the company’s new landscape division where he is responsible for all aspects of the division – from sales to design to implementation. Jason brings 30+ years’ experience designing, selling and installing landscapes, as owner of his own landscape maintenance and installation company and while working for various landscaping companies, from Maryland to Colorado. More recently, Jason ran the landscape construction division of a local landscape company for eight years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University as well as an Associate Degree in Horticulture from SUNY, Morrisville. Jason loves being outdoors and enjoys hiking, fishing, four-wheeling, snowboarding, and anything else that takes him out into nature.

Mike has been part of the Perez DBR family since 2015. Despite his recent welcome into the company, Mike has spent over 18 years in construction industry. His seasoned experience and certifications has helped him be able to jump right into the production management role.

Caleb grew up in Honesdale and Carbondale, Pennsylvania, and has three years of experience in the construction industry. As a Carpenter Helper, he specializes in rough carpentry and enjoys being part of the building process from the ground up. His favorite part of the job is watching each project evolve from the early framing stages into a beautifully finished home that clients can enjoy for years to come. Outside of work, Caleb enjoys staying active and spending time working out.

John grew up in New York and now calls Lake Wallenpaupack home. With more than 20 years of experience in the building industry, he specializes in finish carpentry and takes pride in bringing clients’ visions to life through quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. As a Finish Carpenter and Installer, John enjoys the creativity each project offers and is committed to exceeding client expectations on every job. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, spending time with his family, and being involved in his church.

CJ joined the Perez team in 2021, after gaining industry experience as a Construction Logistics Liaison. At Perez, CJ is responsible for locating and verifying materials and supplies, maintaining inventory, and reporting any shortages.
In his spare time, CJ loves to hit the links and enjoy the outdoors.

He loves the satisfaction of creating something with his hands, problem-solving, and being part of a dedicated team building something all can be proud of. When he isn’t busy at work, Rudy heads outdoors- somewhere quiet and beautiful-to fish and relax.
