Bring Your Inspiration
Found a room online, or generated one with AI, that looks like what you want? Bring it.
Free ConsultationWhat counts as inspiration
Anything that shows the direction, not just describes it. Homeowners bring us:
- AI-generated renders: Midjourney, ChatGPT, or an app that lets you "redesign" a photo of your own room
- A Pinterest or Houzz board
- Screenshots saved from Instagram or a builder's website
- Torn pages from a magazine
- A photo of a friend or family member's finished project
An AI render is a direction, not a blueprint
An AI image can nail the mood of a room: the cabinet color, the light fixture, the way a kitchen opens into a living room. It can also get the load-bearing wall, the plumbing run or the window size completely wrong for the house it's actually going into. That's expected, and it's fine. Our designer's job is to take what you responded to in the image and translate it into something that fits your house, your budget and your local code, not to hand you back the picture with a price tag on it.
What happens with your inspiration at your free consultation
A designer comes to your home at no charge, looks at the actual space, and goes through whatever you've brought with you: on your phone, printed out, or in a folder. We'll talk through what's actually driving the direction (the color? the layout? the lighting?), and start building a plan around your house instead of around the picture.
